1. Question: Does AktivGel help against urinary tract infections?
Answer: We do not have any clinical studies that prove that the gel works against urinary tract infections, but many of our customers report that they have had fewer urinary tract infections as the gel cures and relieves dry mucous membranes that can often be the cause of urinary tract infections.
2. Question: Can I get a discharge after using AktivGel?
Answer: After using VagiVital AktivGel for a longer period of time, the vagina may to some extent return to a normal environment, i.e. normal discharge may occur again.
3. Question: Can I use my finger to apply the gel instead of the applicator?
Answer: Yes, you can use your finger instead, but it is of course important that you are careful and use a clean finger.
4. Question: What happens if I stop using AktivGel?
Answer: Our studies show that the effect disappears over time. After 14 days without treatment, the effect is halved. Our recommendation is to switch to using the gel every other day after 3 months of use. Test yourself until you are satisfied! 5. Question: When should I use AktivGel - morning or evening?
Answer: It doesn't matter what time of day you take the gel, in our clinical studies it has been taken in the evening, but this is not a requirement.
